I created this look when I saw few make up looks on you tube and so I get a few ideas from them and I came up with this look. I hope that you all like it.

This is the overall look. Although I have the lighting really bad, you can see that the brown eyes really popped in this look. I am going to go closer into the eye look so that you can see what type of colours I used.
I used NYX jumbo Milk as a base, I used yellow gold on the eye lid, in the crease I went  with shimmery violet  and in the outer corner I went with deep violet. I used a black liquid eyeliner and made a small eye cat wing.

I used a blue pencil eye liner in my waterline and also  under my lower lash line  in the middle.
I used also a little purple eye shadow under my lower lash line at the outer corner.
This is the overall look. I went with a lace dress by Dorothy Perkins.

Malta Fashion Awards 2013

Hello ladies and Gentlemen,

Yesterday it was the Malta Fashion Awards, I was amazing. There was a lot of people and all of them were in the best outfit possible. I was a little disappointed yesterday because us as bloggers didn't have a reserved sit for us and they just put us on the fourth row and we couldn't see close enough to report everything in detail.
Still we had such a great time and also I am happy for all the winners that won in their category in fashion. I also want to congratulate to all the make up artist, hairdressers and also styles that were behind this fashion shows.

This was the beginning of the show. All the clothes and designs where shown during specific individual shows during the past week.

Lets begin with make up looks. There were dramatic artistic make up looks and their were simple and elegant looks.

Photography by Mark J. Schembri : www.markxphotography.com
As you all can notice the make up look here is dramatic artistic make up look and that was used to emphasis the dramatic hair style. On the eyes they used green and pink eye shadows and glitters under the eyes and then they let everything simple, like nude lips and soft pink blush.

This look was also dramatic artistic look and the look was combined with the hair and also with the dress that the model was wearing. The eye shadows was blue and the eye brows as big and black. On the lips they went also for blue lipstick and they used some glitters under her eyes. Then on the cheek they let it simple with a soft peachy blush.

Sorry I don't have a close up of the make up of this model but on this model they used simple and elegant look. They used peachy blush and lips and eyes are on an nude and earth colours. They used also a soft smoky eyes, they used this type of make up so that to emphasis the gorgeous handbag make by Dali.

Charles and Ron Collection

Hello Everyone,

So today is the second fashion show that I attend to and it was amazing. Let me tell you about the collection first. So this is a collection is for Spring/Summer 2014 and all the collection was designed by two amazing dramatic designers Charles and Ron.

This collection was inspired by lovely Tradition Maltese Feasts that Malta is famous for in Summer. In the Tradition Maltese Feasts you can notice well the 'pavaljuni' and also 'bandalori' that is made with a lot of different patterns that are totally elaborated and dramatic designs. This showed a lot during the collection that I attended today.

So lets begin

This is the presenter Moira Delia, she was wearing one of the amazing Summer/ Spring collection of Charles and Ron.
Photography Dennis Calleja - http://www.denniscalleja.com/
Her make up was stunning and it flows with the whole look and with the elaborate patterns on the  flowy top. The eye look had different colourful bright colours, there was involved purple and pink on the eyelid and blue and turquoise and also green on the waterline and under her eyes. The make up artist Justin Brincat went for a pinkish blush and also pink/reddish lips. The whole make up look went with the flow of what she was wearing.
There was also the Maltese Prim Minister's wife . She was lovely in her black and blue dress. It accentuate her hips and made her elegant for this event.  Her make up was kept simple but her eye look was based on blue so that to compliment her dress.

The Make up artist is Justin Brincat and Hair was made by Alexander's Hairdressing.

The make up artist Justin Brincat that is famous for his perfectionism in art and make up,he went for two to three darker shade of foundation from the skin tone of each model , than he used a gold dust on the eyebrows, then he accentuate the features of the face by contouring and highlighting. The make up artist also put some colour on the cheeks by using pink blush and he created soft smoky eyes on each model and used nude lips with clear lip gloss. The make up was dramatic and simple in the same time so that the patterns on the dresses that they were wearing, will be the focus of the whole show.

The hair was also kept simple, it was used a pony tale with some hair  twisted around the rubber band.

I observed how the models worked the flow of each dress that they were wearing. All the patterns of each dress was showed by each model and every detail that the designers wanted show to the audience, it was showed. They walked really slowly so that each audience could observed the patterns and the bright colours and the material of each dress. The colours that this collection had was yellows and blue, gold and green, soft purple and the patterns was the Maltese cross, flowers and much more. In this collection was also introduced new leather bag collection. They were also bright colourful bags that the first thing that comes to your mind is Spring/ Summer weather in Malta.

Bridal Fashion Show

Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

A Bridal Fashion Show was held at the Xara Lodge in Rabat. This Bridal dresses are made by Farage' Paris and they are going to be found in the Wedding Bells Collection.

The make up was amazing, it was made by the make up artist Elaine Galea and hair by Prive'.

This was the amazing catwalk for the bridal show.
This is the gorgeous setting when you enter at the Xara Lodge.
There were a lot of make up looks, some were smoky elegant eyes with nude lips and soft peachy cheeks, I noticed that the make up artist went for earthy colours on some models like browns and also soft green, there were also models that the eye look was based a little bit on the glittery side. Most of the models had nude lips, some were on the reddish and some were on the pinkish side but soft and elegant. The cheeks was also kept soft, some of the models had peachy blush on their cheeks, some had soft pink blush also.

The make up was elegant and simple. The lips was pink/ reddish  nude lips, and the eyes were simple with natural earth colours. The hair on this model was made curls and pulled from one side.

On this model the lips were peachy nude and was also used browns for her eye look, the blush is more on the soft orange colour. Her hair was let down with her natural curls with a feather headpiece.
The was different looks of dresses, A-line, Ballgown, Trumpet style, Mermaid style, Straight dresses. Most of the dresses had lace, diamond, feathers, crystals and some had also bows.

This is an amazing A-line to Ballgown dress. The top is almost see through and the design is amazing with lace and ruffle skirt.

This is a lace trumpet wedding dress with ruffles at the bottom.

There were different styles of dresses that had sweetheart neckline, strep less, one shoulder dress, there was also turtle neck line and I notice also a dress with short sleeves. There were a lot of different veils, there were short, tall, some of them were simple, some of them were with lace. There were a lot of mixture of materials involved that made the dresses and also the veils amazing.

This wedding dress was with a bow under the chest and this dress was straight and full of lace . The veil compliment the dress because it was also laces and the same detail like the dress.
These are the few dresses to show you, so that to enjoy yourself.

This amazing dress was also made with pearls.

This gorgeous gown was made with lace and it was ivory and not white and it is one shoulder. Amazing dress.
I really enjoyed this Bridal Fashion Show, it had different styles and all the dresses are totally different from one another. The make up was stunning and also the different hair looks.

I hope that you enjoyed this post and stay tuned for more post coming up from the Fashion show week.

Take care and enjoy
