NYX Trio Eyeshadow

Hello Everyone,

Today I am going to review/ swatch the NYX Trio Eyeshadow in Shade TS25 Beanie/ Red Bronze/ Red Bean. I got this palette in my goody bag when I went to the NYX opening event. If you didn't see the post of the NYX opening event click here. You should check their store out. If you are not in Malta you should check out their UK website click here, USA webiste sorry I cannot find them anywhere.

The light one is white yellowish colour, the second one is dark pink and the last one is dark purple.
The package is sleek and it look professional.
The eyeshadows are shimmery and they are amazing for an evening wedding look.
I am going to show you a make up look of a bridal that I created with this palette.

Do you like this make up look for bride?
I really recommend to try these Trio Eyeshadows. The eyeshadows are really highly pigmented and you will have few fall outs, they don't feel frosty but they go really smooth on the eyelids. I recommend that you apply the eyeshadow before you do your foundation so that when you are ready from the eyes you wipe the fall outs with a make up wipe and continue with your make up routine.

Do you own a Trio Eyeshows from NYX, if yes what do you think about them?

Love you all lots

Smokey eye tutorial

Hello lovelies :)

How are you today? I hope your doing well.

Did you ever wanted that smokey eye look that pops your colour eyes out? Did you ever created a smokey eyes to go for a party or to a wedding?

So I am giving you two different smokey eye look.

On the left it is an almond smokey eyes and on the right I created a wing smokey eye.
Which one do you prefer?

On the right side is the wing smokey eye.
  • To create this smokey eye you have to prime your eyes I used the Elf Mineral Eyeshadow Primer .
  • Then apply a soft matte cream colour that matches her skin all over the eyes as a base from the Sleek Palette Storm.
  • Then I apply a black pencil, I used the NYX Jumbo Eye pencil (JEP601 Black Bean) in the outer corner as a base. Does not matter if it is a little bit messy.
  • Than I applied matte black eyeshadow from Storm Palette over the black pencil and begin to create the wing eyeshadow.
  • When I was satisfied with the black I applied gold eyeshadow in the inner till the middle of the eye and I blend the gold with the black in the middle.
  • I applied shimmery white in the brow bone to lift the brow bone up as there was a lot of black going on.
  • I applied some black under the eyes and also gold from the inner eye till the middle.
  • Than I applied mascara and black eyeliner in the waterline and applied brown eyeshadow in the eyebrows and set it with Elf Studio Make up mist and Set on the eyebrow brush to set the colour.

This is the almond smokey eyeshadow look
This side is also a smokey eye but not that dramatic as the other side.
  • First I applied the primer from Elf as mantioned above and also the cream eyeshadow all over the eyelid.
  • With the matte black eyeshadow from the Storm Palette I created a C shape at the outer corner of the eye
  • From the inner eye till the middle I applied a silver shimmery eyeshadow and blended with the matte black eyeshadow.
  • On the browbone I applied a soft matte brownish cream eyeshadow so that to continue with the softness of the smokey eyes.
  • Than I applied mascara (L'Oreal Paris Double Extension Waterproof in Shade Noir/ Black) and black eyeliner from wjcon in the waterline and applied brown eyeshadow in the eyebrows and set it with Elf Studio Make up mist and Set on the eyebrow brush to set the colour.

Make up look for my birthday

Hello Everyone,

How are you all? :)
I wish all the Maltese followers Happy Feast. For the international followers I wish you all an amazing day and wish you all the best possible that a day can give you. So last Tuesday I had my 23rd birthday ( I am getting old :( ) and by boyfriend took me to dinner. Let me show you what I wore and what make up look I created.

All the photos that were taken are with my new camera ( Thanks to by boyfriend as a birthday present) I hope that you all liked the photos and I am still experimenting at the moment with my camera.

Lets go with the look

So I wore a white dress, it is all lace and a white/ cream handbag and a wadge shoes that has brown and blue.

This is an over all look of my make up.

So I went with pink eyeshadows and I went with an orange lipstick.
This is the eye look I am so sorry for my camera not picking up all the colours that I created. I went with a soft pink all over my eyelid and than I went with a darker pink in my crease. I highlighted my brow bone and filled it with a matte brown eyeshadow. I used a liquid eyeliner near my eyelashes and applied waterproof mascara to hold my curls.

Morning Occasion Make up look

Hello Lovelies

How are you all?
This week it was really hard for me to pass through because my chinchilla (Name Perrinu had died and I miss him so much). I am doing my best to cope with it but life have to move on.

As I promised you all I am showing you what I am doing at the make up course and tell you how to do it.
This is a Monochromatic eyeshadow almond shape. Monochromatic effect means that with one colour you create from light to dark effect. Now an almond is like a "perfect" shade that one can have to apply eye make up.

This is a Monochromatic eyeshadow eye look and the final make up look that I created on my model Yana.
So lets begin:

So first I started with the eye look. First I applied the primer than I used a cream loose eyeshadow powder all over the eye. They I created a C shape starting from the half of the eye in the crease down to the half of the eye on the lash line with a matte brown eyeshadow. Than you blended as much as you can, if the brown fades you can go back and create the C shape again and blended. Then I removed fall outs from the eyeshadow by sweeping it with a clear brush. Than I applied the concealer and the foundations and the corrector and I matte everything with a loose powder. Than I went back again to the eyes so that I will be able to apply the same brown under the lower lash line and also I used a black eyeshadow to use it as a eyeliner on the top lash line so that to be a soft look. I used a black eyeliner in the water line and applied a waterproof mascara. You have to remember that for morning looks you should not use a black eyeliners and mascaras you should use a brown eyeliners and mascara but everyone have their preferred eyeliners. Then I applied bronzer on her jaw line and under her cheekbones and near her hair line. I applied a pink soft blush and I highlighted the cheek bone. On her lips I went for a soft nude colour so that the emphasis will be on her eyes. Then I filled her eyebrows with the same matte brown eyeshadow.

Blank Canvas Cosmetics Pro Brushes

Hello Lovelies :)

It has been a while since I made a post and I am so sorry about it. I am really busy at the moment with the make up course and with work and with wedding preparations.
Still today I found sometime to connect with you again. I hope that all of you are enjoying Summer.

So today I am going to review the amazing brushes from Blank Canvas Cosmetics. I took the offer of 40% code few weeks ago and I purchase this amazing brushes that cost me 104.14 euros + Shipping included.  BCC Full Range Pro Deluxe 18 Piece Brush Set :)

So I received a bag that I place the Pro D Brush Holder (Cupholder) and they gave me as a gift the Brush Folio.

This Pro D Brush Holder is amazing, I put all my brushes in it and also when you open it you will have two cups, so you can organize the face brushes in one cup and the eye brushes in the other. The two cups will seal together with a clip on buttons. I put all my brushes in it and go to my make up course. I love this a lot.

This Brush Folio is amazing. The cover is amazing because you can easily wipe it from dirt because it is like plastic.

The Brush Folio have two sections and on the top you have like a flip cover so that the brushes will be protected from touching the opposite brushes and this is good because there will be no cross contamination. They will also be protected from any damage to the brushes. Although I don't use it till know, I will use it for sure when I have clients that have photo shots or other occasion so that it will be easy for me to find that particular brush.
These are all the range that I bought from the Blank Canvas Cosmetics.
These are the face brushes. There are some that are real animal hair and some that are synthetic hair. Brushes F14, F15,F16 are made of goat hair. F17 is made of synthetic hair, F18 is made from natural hair and also synthetic, F20, F21, F22, F23 are made of synthetic fibers. The brushes that are natural hair are ideal for powders and those brushes that are synthetic is ideal to use with liquid or cream make up.

These are the eye brushes. No10, E23 is made of pony hair, E24, E25, E26, E27 are made of goat hair, E28, E30 are made of synthetic fibers, E32 is made of goat hair. There is only one lip brush. L29 is made of synthetic fibers.
The few brushes that I used I really love them and they are super soft and also ideal for every make up artist, they really do their job really well and in really serious detail. Till now I love them.

For my personal use but I use the real techniques brushes and I use Blank Canvas Cosmetics for my professionalism. I had a problem because I had 2 brushes missing and I really appreciate how efficient the costumer service is, they immediately sent me the two brushes and immediately respond back my message. With my order they gave me some gifts: the brush folio, the Blending Duo E25/26 and also the Brush No 10. Thanks and continue with the great job that you all are doing. If you need me to do another post to go through them in detail just comment below.

Do you ever bought something from Blank Canvas Cosmetics?

Thanks so much

Kylie Cassar :)

P.S I am not paid to do this post, all that is written in my posts is written with honesty and what I think is good and bad for me. All the products are paid from my personal money.

Summer Colourful Look

Hello Lovelies :)

How are you? So to update you a little bit I had finished my 2 year Higher National Diploma in Health and Social Care Management and I am going to graduate as a Distinction student finally :) Next year I will be doing a one year full time Degree In Health and Social Care.

Also as you all know who follow me, I am doing a make up course so that I will be more professional in what I love and be able to give you the exact information to you all.

So lets go to this look that I created to go to the Isle of MTV by the way I really enjoyed the performance of Jessie J and also of Rita Ora. They were amazing.

This is the over all look that I created :)

This is the eye look that I created. In this post I am going to show you the eye shadows that I used so that you be able to find similar eye shadows to create this Summer look.
I used the blue that is in the middle of this picture. I use this blue in the corner of my eye. This is a light blue.

I used this golden brown eye shadow in the middle of my eyes and I blended in the light blue.
I used this green in the outer corner of my eyes and blended in the gold brown eyeshadow.
This light peach brown I put it in the crease so that to bland the harsh lines of the 3 colours.
Under my eyes I created blue pencil and also I used it in my waterline. I smudged the blue eyeliner to connect with the light blue that was in the inner corner of my eyes.

I used a soft ping blush on my cheeks and also used bronzer in my cheek bone.
Sorry for the lighting but the sun was reflecting the colour of the outside wall opposite my bathroom window and so I became orange. I was wearing a long maxi dress from Peacocks all blue so I combined the eye look with this colour.
Face
Bourjois Foundation Healthy Mix Shade 55
Maybelline Super Stay 24H SPF19 Shade 030 Sand ( I mixed it with bourjois foundation because it is a little bit light for me Shade 030 Sand from Maybelline)
